Description
The "Uncle Sam" was a saddle tanker locomotive that hauled logs in the Sierra Nevada. It serviced the Champion Sawmill in Lyonsville over a hundred years ago. The little engine and the town are only memories now with a tall pine forest standing where the sawmill used to be.
