Artist's Description

About Timothy Livingston
Watercolor is bright, dynamic and full of surprises. Pen and ink has clean lines and hard contrasts. These are my favorite mediums. My experience as an artist has been a long journey, and what a joy it's been. I spend my days surrounded by a natural world that inspires to be turned into art. I'm a Californian, a forester and an artist. My desk is the hood of my truck and forest is my office. I'm simply a dirt forester and an uncultivated artist.

Lovely repetition and great composition. You are definitely an artist with a great appreciation for nature.
Timothy Livingston replied:
You are very kind Sheila, thank you. My day job is as a forester. Nature is my office!
Conni Schaftenaar
Love this, Timothy - nuthatches are among my favorite little birds! Nicely done!
Timothy Livingston replied:
Thank you so much Conni! I love them too. They’re so unique among the tiny birds in how they move and feed.

Wonderful Timothy. the little Nuthatch blends right in, as they do in real-life
Timothy Livingston replied:
Indeed, I love to watch them, because they have such a unique personality compare to the other birds. Always sneaking in to the feeder grabbing one seed and rushing out again.
