Hoss was an old man when I did this drawing. He belonged to a good friend and was a littermate to one of my dogs. He hung out at the office in the back of his truck and napped a lot. Everyone would stop for a pet on their way to the woods.

when I looked at this picture, I could feel a lump coming up in my throat. And then further down, you used the word 'was'. I am so sorry for the loss. The portrait is beautiful, Timothy and touching my heart. He looks happy and relaxed or maybe very tired.
